Mu.Shoe Closes Edmonds Location; Town & Country Taking Its Spot

Mu.Shoe will continue to operate its store in Kirkland.

Mu.Shoe, which for nine years offered a handpicked collection of designer shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories for women, has closed its Edmonds location at 403 Main St. The store is now empty.

The space won't be that way for long, as Town & Country Jewelers, at 408 Main St. across the street, will be taking over the spot.

Mu.Shoe's store in Kirkland, at 140 Park Lane, will remain open.

Town & Country owner Gary Dietz said his new location will be perfect as he's looking for a smaller store. Dietz added that he will consolidate his business and plans to renovate the new location beginning Thursday.

The Fourth Avenue and Main Street location, where both businesses are located, has been a hub of activity of late. New Edmonds City Councilman on the northeast corner.

Brian Taylor, who owns Daphne's on Main Street, , an Irish pub on Fourth Avenue North.
