Intrigue Coming to Edmonds Bookshop

Mystery this Thursday, baseball on May 26.

On Thursday from 5-8 p.m., Bernadette Pajer will be on hand with Fatal Induction, her second in the Professor Bradshaw mystery series. Set in Seattle in 1901, her books feature a UW electrical engineering professor and lots of authentic turn-of-the-century detail.

On May 26 at noon, Edmonds Bookships will celebrate the release of Dan Raley's Pitchers of Beer (read a review), an entertaining account of the 27-year history of the Seattle Rainiers minor league baseball team.

Raley was a sportswriter at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer for more than three decades and has won numerable journalism awards.
