Gov to Announce Plan to Keep Boeing 777 Work in Washington State

Gov. Jay Inslee will also reveal a comprehensive strategy to support the aerospace industry during an event Thursday at Mukilteo's Future of Flight Aviation Center.

 

Gov. Jay Inslee will unveil his plan to keep work on Boeing’s 777 jet in Washington state during an event Thursday at the Future of Flight Aviation Center in Mukilteo, according to the Everett Herald.

Boeing recently announced it would begin marketing . Although the current 777 is produced at Boeing Everett, the company has not said where the new version will be built.

Inslee will also reveal a comprehensive strategy to “support and grow" the state's aerospace industry at the event.
