Dick's Is No. 1 With Esquire Readers, Who Call the Burger Joint 'Life Changing'

No.2? Some place called In-And-Out.

Dick's Drive-In has pulled off a pretty mean feat.

The Seattle-based hamburger store with only six locations—all in Puget Sound and i—has been named "the most life-changing burger joint" in the country by readers of Esquire magazine.

That means it beat Five Guys. And In-And-Out.

Dick's received 56 percent of the vote. Trailing well behind were In-And-Out, Five Guys, Black and Orange in Washington, D.C., and Kuma's Corner in Chicago.

"We call it the "Best Fans" award!" Dick's posted on its Facebook page. "Your passion for Dick's burgers made national news! Thanks to everyone who voted, shared, and commented about their burger bliss."

Dick's is certainly No. 1 with Edmonds Patch readers. , we asked if Dick's was worth the hype. More than 300 people voted in our poll, with 254 saying the hype was worthy because of the quality of the food.

Thirty-eight people said Dick's wasn't worth the hype. No doubt they did not vote in Esquire's poll.
