Edmonds' Compass Apartments Now Open for 2-Bedroom Renters

Edmonds' newest apartment complex, Compass Apartments on Edmonds Way, is still under construction but is now open to those who want to rent two bedroom, two-bath units.

The smaller building is complete, and construction on the larger east building (with one-bedrooms and alcoves) is expected to be complete in July.

, located on the northwest corner of Edmonds Way and 232nd St. SW in Westgate (23020 Edmonds Way), have the distinction of being the largest mixed-use development ever seen in Edmonds.

Compass has 89 one- and two-bedroom apartments, underground parking and more than 3,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space. It features two buildings with three and four levels on a 1.8-acre site.

Compass also has, studios and one-bedroom apartments.

The two-bedroom apartments rent for $1,295-$1,450. Studios, which are essentially open one-bedrooms because they have a sleeping alcove with on suite bath, are $900-$1,025. One-bedrooms are $1,125-$1,299.

There is a $25 monthly fee for pets.

Square footage ranges from 490 square feet to 955 square feet.

They come with European-style cabinetry, storage, stainless-steel finished appliances, floor-to-ceiling windows, full-size washer and dryers, forced-air heat, accent walls, Juliet balconies, Berber carpeting and plank-style wood entries.

All apartments are wired for high-speed Internet connections, and there are USB ports in the kitchens.

The apartments also have a media center, fitness facility, guest lounge, pool table and other amenities.

At this time, Compass is doing hard-hat tours by appointment seven days a week.
