Today at 6 p.m.Edmonds City Council meeting.

Wednesday, 7:30 a.m.—Chamber Wednesday Networking Breakfast featuring Joe McAlipen on RSVP. Fairwinds-Brighton Court, 6520 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. Upcoming: Sept. 26, Saket Senger on Aging Options; Oct. 3, Steve Bernheim on U.S. immigration; Oct. 10, Juliana Van Buskirk on Kiwanis; Oct. 17, Teresa Rommel on Take Shape for Life.

Thursday—Edmonds Chamber luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Epulo Bistro, 526 Main St. Speaker is Jean Hernandez, president of Edmonds Community College. $17.50 for Edmonds Chamber members, $20 for nonmembers.

Thursday—Edmonds Third Thursday Art Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. at various locations downtown.

Sept. 25—Ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m. at Compass Apartments, 23015 Edmonds Way.

Sept. 26—425 Launch: Art Entrepreneurship at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Brackett meeting room. Three panelists from the local arts community will share their experiences in moving from a passion to an avocation and then to a vocation. Presented in collaboration with the Edmonds Chamber Arts and Culture Committee.

Oct. 1—Candidates' forum from 7-9 p.m. at Public Safety Complex, 250 Fifth Avenue N. The Economic Development Committee brings to Edmonds the candidates for Congressional District 7, U.S. Senate and State Districts 21 and 32, as well as representatives for each side of the initiatives and referendum to be voted on in November.

On Wednesday, September 12 , the Chamber hosted a  Joint Chamber "Meet & Greet". Nearly 100 members and guests from five Chambers (Mill Creek, Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood and North Seattle) joined us at the Yacht Club for a great  networking opportunity.  We've already been asked when the next one is!
