IAM horseshoes tournament raises $3,500 for charity

RENTON — The annual Shoes for Puppies horseshoes tournament raised more than $3,500 for Guide Dogs of America.

The event was held Aug. 10 at the Red Dog Saloon, and was sponsored by Machinists Union Local Lodge 751-E.

“The folks at the Red Dog were great to work with,” said Local 751-E President Ira Carterman. “Thanks to them, and our tournament sponsors, we had a really good time raising money for a great cause.”
