Last year’s event attracted nearly 140 runners and raised about $12,000 for Guide Dogs of America. Since it was started in 2001, the Flight for Sight run has raised more than $119,000 for the charity, which provides trained guide dogs free of charge to people from across the United States and Canada who are blind or have impaired vision.
