Swedish/Edmonds Screening "Babe" As Part of Free Series

Complimentary popcorn and lemonade will be available.

Swedish/Edmonds is hosting its second free Outdoor Movie Night on Friday at 8:30 p.m.

The featured movie is 1995’s Babe, a 1995 story of a little pig who manages to avoid becoming Christmas dinner by learning how to herd sheep and winning a sheepdog contest. The movie was a critical and box office success and was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture.

Babe stars James Cromwell and Christine Cavanaugh as the voice of Babe. The movie runs 91 minutes and is rated G.

Chair seating on the hospital patio on the second floor will be available for the first 200 people. Moviegoers may also bring a blanket and sit on the lawn above the patio area. Free parking is available in the lot located just outside the hospital’s west entrance off 76th Avenue. Complimentary popcorn and lemonade will be available.
