Looking for Unique Art From Edmonds? Miniatures Come to Gallery North

Works will be juried and available for purchase. The exhibit begins Thursday.

is going small for its next exhibiti.

It's annual "Miniature and Small Paintings Show" begins Thursday and runs throughout the month.

The exhibition will include hundreds of paintings created by local and national artists competing for awards and prizes. Paintings will include a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, color pencil, mixed media, watercolor, pastels and more.

Kathy Collins, an award winning painter and instructor, will be this year’s juror. Kathy has been featured in several popular art magazines including The Artist’s Magazine, The Watercolor Artist Magazine, and Splash.

There will be an artists’ reception on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the gallery. The public is invited to come celebrate with the artists and browse through the artwork. Refreshments will be served.

The public is also invited to join the artists on March 15 during the from 5-8 p.m.

All of the miniature and small paintings will be for sale.
