The public is welcome at the first in a series of garden workshops which will happen on Saturday, October 1st. It will be held at Coldwell, Bain, 108 5th Ave. South from 10-12. It is sponsored by Floretum Garden Club as part of their community outreach efforts. Zsofia Pasztor, founder and owner of Innovative, Landscape Technologies will be speaking about "New Landscape Concepts". Zsofia's plans are environmentally friendly and can inspire gardeners who want their gardens to be wildlife friendly and minimize the use of water. Such ideas as Compost Soxx to make steep slopes easy to garden, urban vegetable gardens, places for chickens in your garden, replacement ideas for lawns are part of what she will talk about.
