Edmonds's Own Gothard Sisters to Play Waterfront Festival in May

The sisters announced on their Facebook page Sunday they will play at the 26th Edmonds Rotary Waterfront Festival on May 31. The festival runs May 31 to June 2.

 

Edmonds’ own Celtic singing and dancing Gothard Sisters will perform for the sixth straight year at the 26th Edmonds Waterfront Festival in May, they announced Sunday on their Facebook page.

The festival is May 31-June 2 at the downtown marina, and the Gothard Sisters will play on May 31 at 3 p.m. Learn more about the festival, presented by the Edmonds Rotary, here: http://www.edmondswaterfrontfestival.com/.

The sisters posted on their Facebook Page here the following:

“This will be our 6th year at the Edmonds Waterfront Festival - one of our very first performances was at the waterfront many years ago! We've been invited back to do a Summer show for all you wonderful Edmonds people.

Come on down to the Waterfront and join us!”

Tickets are $3 to get in and there are food, vendors and entertainment all weekend."

The Gothard Sisters -- Greta, Willow and Solana -- are a talented, all-female Irish music and dance group who play all over the country. Their latest CD Storygirl has won acclaim -- one song, "The Sailor and the Mermaid," was filmed at Meadowdale Beach Park.
