Edmonds' Westgate neighborbood now joins the Bowl with its own Little Free Library, where anyone is encouraged to take a book and put one back in its place.

It's located on the west side of 98th Avenue West (21729 98th), about a half block north of 220th St. SW.

in Edmonds, which happened to also be the first in the state, is located next to on Main Street near the ferry. It was the 858th in the world.
According to the Little Free Library Web site (where you can locate all the libraries worldwide), the initial goal was for 2,500 libraries. It has now surpassed that goal, as the Westgate version is number 2647.
There are now Little Free Libaries statewide, from Hoquiam in the west to Spokane in the east.
Numerous libraries now dot the Puget Sound area.
