Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Brings Swingin' Big Band Holiday Show to Edmonds

The band first gained popular in the movie "Swingers."

Modern-day swing band traditionalists Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will perform a holiday show on Wednesday at the .

The show, “Wild and Swingin’ Holiday Party,” will features songs like “Blue Christmas,” “Jingle Bells” and “We Three Kings” all done in the band's rollicking Big Band style.

The band, whose latest CD is a tribute to Cab Calloway, will also perform original tunes.

After gaining mainstream popularity with their breakthrough performance in the movie Swingers, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has gone on to become one of the most popular touring bands on the road today.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy performs Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Edmond Centers for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Tickets, $35-$40, $15 for youth, are available online at www.ec4arts.org or by calling 425-275-9595.
