What Would You Improve in Gig Harbor in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Gig Harbor, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Gig Harbor to make it an even better place to live?

What is on Gig Harbor's wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

Tell us in the comment section below or upload a Local Voices blog about why you love living here.

Agree all the above...but the big players downtown must rally together...our leaders or organizations dont either know how or are unwilling to focus downtown or are perhaps too sensitive to the old ways and the old folks way of not reallly wanting downtown to even exist...we are all in this together...I have 22 yrs invested here...but feel very alone. We need investor-angels to build a marine resort complex with rooms, view, food and fuel!....Bruce "the Winer"

I agree! We need more cafe' style places, and some boutiques or just nice small businesses. Shops like imagine great things, the candy shop, and the beach basket are perfect! More places like those. A good example is cannon beach. Good food, good shopping, good accommodations

We need a decent grocery store downtown. We should also whack down all the tall trees that block people's views. I happen to love the corner lot across the street from the Tides so may all the busybodies leave well enough alone :o) No , I am not the owner, but I wish I were.
