To Market: Salish Crossing Farmers Market Makes its Debut

The first ever Salish Crossing Farmers Market was held June 12.

Neil and Dorothea of Flying Tomato Farm of Snohomish sold tomatoes (see photo) while strawberries, snap peas, honey and flowers were some of the other items for sale.

The market, which will have an emphasis on fresh produce, is meant to complement two existing markets in downtown Edmonds sponsored by the Edmonds Historical Museum: the Garden Market (Saturdays, May 4-June 22) and the Summer Market (Saturdays, June 29-Oct 5, except Aug. 10).

The Salish Crossing Farmers Market is every Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. through Oct. 2 at 190 Sunset Ave. S. in Edmonds.
