Officer-Involved Shooting in Bothell Began in Edmonds

An officer-involved shooting occurred in Bothell early Friday afternoon, KING-5 TV News is reporting.

An officer-involved shooting occurred in Bothell early Friday afternoon, KING-5 TV News is reporting.

The incident began in Edmonds at about 2:30 p.m. when a woman called Edmonds Police and said her husband was suicidal, reports KOMO News. The incident ended in Bothell, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. 

Police converged at the 16700 block of 96th Avenue NE near the Wayne Golf Course in Bothell.

KOMO reports that at least seven shots were fired into a pickup, and one person has been taken to a hospital.

The Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team is in charge.
