LION DANCE PERFORMANCE IN SEATTLE

When: Saturday at 2 pm

Where: Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience at 719 S. King St.

Details: The performance will be outside the museum on South King Street. It also will continue inside the museum. The inside portion is free with admission.

Chinese lions are used during the Lunar New Year to chase away bad spirits. They are used especially in southern China, Hong Kong and in cities that have large numbers of ethnic Chinese.
