Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

  • Sno-King Chorale Concert

Where/When: Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, Saturday, 3:30 p.m. Contact: 425-673-1242

Why Go: Just home from the U.S. premiere at Carnegie Hall in New York City last month, Sno-King Community Chorale invites you to the West Coast premiere of Karl Jenkins’ new work, “Gloria.”

Cost: Adults $20, student/senior $15, child (younger than 12) $10, special discount for student/senior only groups of 10 or more (matinee only) $13 

  • Greenbelt Cleanup  

Where/When: , 9300 236th St. SW, Edmonds, Sunday, 2 p.m. Contact: 206-303 0571
Why Go: Have fun with neighbors and classmates taking care of our woods, building a stronger community and teaching our youth about stewardship of our natural areas. Participate in a big clean up day of our green belts around Madrona and former Woodway Elementary Schools.
Cost: Free   

  • Wildlife Movie Night

Where/When: Willow Creek Hatchery Classroom Building, 95 Pine St., Edmonds, Friday, 7 p.m. Contact: 425-672-2150 
Why Go: Enjoy the wildlife film, “First Flight: A Mother Hummingbirds Story.” This 45-minute film is delightful for all ages. There will also be a local hummingbird Q&A at the end of the movie!

  • Edmonds Artwalk 

Where/When: , 523 Main St., Edmonds, Thursday, 5 p.m. Contact: 425-672-2150 
Why Go: Bring the kids by the Fabric of Life store at 523 Main Street from 5-8 p.m. to pick-up some cool freebies from the National Wildlife Federation. Also in honor of Artwalk they will be giving out coloring sheets created by local artist and wildlife enthusiast, Sue Coccia.

  • Breakfast & Bowl 

Where/When: Robin Hill Lanes, 9801 Edmonds Way, Sunday, 9 a.m. Contact: 425-776-2101  
Why Go: Take a day off from making Sunday breakfast for the kids and enjoy.  

Cost: Buy a breakfast ($6 or more) and get three free games of bowling. (Games must be used that day)
