Community Corner

Shout it from the Rooftop

Your voice is needed to raise awarness and to rally a response to the plight of those whose lives are challenged by poverty and homelessness.  Neighbors in Need is occupying Trinity Lutheran Church's rooftop, June 22 at noon until June 24th at 2:00 to highlight these issues and make poverty visible. Sponsor a team of four and join our voices, using social media, to help draw attention to those in need.

Neighbors in Need, a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, addresses those needs through caring relationships with the Emergency Cold Weather Shelter Network, Saturday Morning Basic Needs, Neighborhood Youth Alliance, and Packs for Kids.  These groups work in partnership with several other local churches, PEMCO, Panda Express, the City of Lynnwood, the Edmonds School District, and Edmonds Community College.

Follow our event on Facebook and Twitter.  For more information please contact Julia Eckberg, NIN Coordinator, at (206) 291-4112 or at julia@trinitylutheranchurch.com.  See you on the rooftop!
