Edmonds Night Owls Could Glimpse Meteor Showers

The Lyrid meteor showers are supposed to peak this weekend.

 

If you're out stargazing this weekend, you could be in for a show.

The Lyrid meteor showers are supposed to peak Sunday night, after also being active Saturday.

Still, NASA says the meteor shower is expected to be active through April 25. Saturday's new moon means darker skies and better viewing, with 10-20 meteors per hour likely this weekend.
