Downtown Edmonds the Place to be For a Family Friendly Halloween
Merchants will once again hand out treats, while the Edmonds Historical Museum's basement will transform into a Haunted Museum.
There are certain truths to Halloween in Edmonds.
Streets with the busiest traffic don’t see as many trick-or-treaters. It’s usually pretty cold. Emerald Hills is the best neighborhood for scoring goodies. And downtown Edmonds is the place to be for those wanting a safe and family friendly atmosphere.
On Oct. 31, a Monday, the activity downtown will center around the fountain at Fifth and Main streets. Streets will be blocked off to protect the trick-or-treaters, who are overwhelmingly elementary-school age. Participating merchants will be handing out treats from 5-7 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce. For more information, call 425-776-6711.
