Cold Weather Shelter Open Tuesday, Wednesday Nights for South Snohomish County

People who need to get out of the below-freezing temperatures should meet at Lynnwood City Hall to be picked up at 7 p.m.

The South Snohomish County Emergency Cold Weather Shelter will be open Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Jan. 15-16. Residents, homeless citizens and anyone in need will be picked up at Lynnwood City Hall, 19100 44th Ave. W., at 7 p.m. sharp and returned to City Hall at 7 a.m. the following morning.

Dinner, breakfast and a sack lunch will be provided.

The forecast for Edmonds through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service, calls for areas of freezing fog and low temperatures around 30, with highs of 39 to 40.
