Come see all the great entertainment, eat the great food and visit with Edmonds Patch!

Who cares if it's a little gray? (Hello, weather: Send a few sunbreaks today, eh?)

The popular Edmonds Rotary Waterfront Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary this weekend and, if you haven't been before, there's a little something for just about everyone.

Check out Larry Vogel's attached pictures of highlights from Friday's opening.

(Oh, and in addition, this is your chance to meet Edmonds Patch. We'll have a booth today.)

Of course, there is much to do at the festival, and all proceeds (there is a $3 entrance fee) go toward charitable purposes selected byΒ the Rotary Club of Edmonds.

Kids activities include a climbing rock wall, inflatable rides, paintball gallery, fish hatchery, face painting and pony rides. The Family Stage Schedule includes a variety of musical acts, as well as martial arts, reptile demonstrations, dance lessons and more.

For adults, the Beer and Wine Garden stage schedule features such bands as the popular Beatniks, who perform tonight.

There will be all kinds of different food available, from corn on the cob to elephant ears, to a booth from local restaurants.

Come on down!

The 25th annual Edmonds Rotary Waterfront Festival continues today through Sunday at the Port of Edmonds Marina. Admission is $3; children 12 and under free. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
