Dogs Get Their Own Halloween Dress-Up Fun This Weekend

Seventh annual Halloween Howl will be held at the off-leash dog park. Vendors, raffles and more on the agenda as well.

Halloween is going to the dogs again in Edmonds. Woof.

The seventh annual Halloween Howl, to be held Saturday at the , is sponsored by the Off Leash Area Edmonds (O.L.A.E.) nonprofit group.

The highlight of the event, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., is a dog costume contest. Judging begins at 1 p.m.

There will be pet-friendly vendors, a silent auction and raffles. Among the items to be won or purchased are free pet services from the Whole Pup, the Dining Dog, Shorehound Dog Walking and Aussie Pet Mobile, as well as gift baskets from local businesses including Blue Collar Dog House, All the Best Pet Care and Pawsensitve Points.  

Also available will be gift certificates from , , Fabric of Life and . available.

Edmonds Animal Control Officer Debbie Dawson will be on hand, and O.L.A.E. will be donating 10 pet licenses for neutered pets.
