Last year in 2012 the Driftwood Players started a program called "Take a Kid to the Theater". Through collaboration with the YWCA, Driftwood brought kids to the theater to see their very first Live Performance. It was such a success, the Driftwood Players duplicated the program for 2013. Saturday, Aug 3rd we brought a group of kids and chaperones to the theater to see The Amazing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe. We would like to thank our 3 sponsors for helping make this program a reality: Peggy L Sanders-Attorney-at-Law PLLC, Ed Dorame-Golden Empire Mortgage Inc, and Brenda Brown-Sound Anti-Aging Solutions/Nu Skin. We would also like to thank the Edmonds Chamber breakfast group for donating cash to provide these kids with concession snacks before the show. Without the support of our wonderful community, the Driftwood Players could not continue to add and expand our educational program work!
